Watch This!

I'm moved by these online sample sale websites like OutNet, One Kings Lane and Gilt Groupe. Though the offerings are most always fabulous, I rarely bite.  No particular reason except the inventory is usually depleted when I get around to remembering to shop.

Daily Candy has a new site called, Swirl. I am fawning all over these watches by TKO.  I am just fine with my everyday watch, a classic (and simple) Gucci. I guess I'm boring that way.  I'm beginning to wonder if I need a fun timepiece and if I should seize one in this TKO collection. Is a pink watch too much? Look around here...maybe it isn't.  Are pink watch wearers taken seriously?

Should I or shouldn't I? The pricepoint is hard to turn down. It's originally $125 but being offered for $70.

Do you wear a classic or "fun" watch?

  1. Um, honey, what's boring about Gucci or you? Nothing, that's what. But I do love that pink watch!

  2. I think both the classic and fun watches are equally beneficial. I haven't worn a watch in years, but I definitely like this pink TKO. Go for it!

  3. It's nice to shake things up a bit. I have three watches. One classic, the other two are for fun. If it makes you smile AND keeps you on schedule, then why not?

  4. I wear my classic watch every day. I truly love it, but wouldn't mind being about to switch it up a bit.

  5. TBS,
Nothing wrong with classic but sometimes a gal has to shake things with a sassy piece. If the pink TKO is calling your name -- you should answer the call.

  6. I have several watches that I wear to suit my mood. My classic is perfect with everything but sometimes I love to mix it up and wear something completely for the fun aspect of it.

  7. I have three classic watches and several fun ones, but I'm VERY partial to one of the classics.

  8. The allure of that shade of pink has me wanting to spend, spend, spend! I had already picked that shade of pink in my mind for the next pedicure!

  9. I have a couple of classics.. the real thing and have no regrets on the price I paid. I have worn them 4 ever and they are always "in style". On the other hand, when the white Chanel watch came out, no way could I justify the cost for something that I knew was a trend. I have a couple of faux and or fun watches that I wear depending on my mood, what I am wearing and where I am going. They are fun.. and when the trend is over so are they!!! no regrets

  10. I wear no watch. I like to run on my own standard time (which, I'll add, doesn't always work out - lol!). But that pink watch really caught my eye. While I wouldn't bother because I know I'd never wear it, I would certainly swoon over it if I saw it on the wrist of a passerby.

  11. I just bought my first "big girl" watch...it's a classic. I don't think I'd do a fun watch, give me some class and a couple of interchangeable bands-that's as far as I'm goin.

I have to say that the watch is cute but, watches can't always be as impractical as shoes!!!

  12. Go for it! Its totally darling! I been on a real pink watch kick lately, but the ones I've seen are all too bulky looking. This one looks so perfect!
