*3/4 tsp salt
*1/2 tsp pepper
*1 tsp cumin
*Tostitos scoops

Combine all ingredients except chips.Toss gently together.

ENJOY!!!! I always keep these ingredients on hand-all my family and friends love it!!!!!

  1. In my house, you take out the corn and tomatoes, add peppers and hot sauce and it is called Mississippi Caviar

    3 16 oz. cans black-eyed peas, drained
½ c. finely chopped green bell pepper
½ c. finely chopped red bell pepper
¾ c. finely chopped hot peppers
    ¾ c. finely chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    2/3 c. olive oil
    1 T. Dijon mustard
    Tabasco sauce

    Corn chips

In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vinegar, oil, and mustard and pour over peas; mix well. Season to taste with salt and Tabasco. With a wooden spoon, mash the mixture slightly.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Drain the caviar well and serve with chips. Enjoy!

  2. I'm going to try that one too! Thanks! Love the name!

  3. Yum! I'll sucker for some chips and dip - ahem, I mean caviar!

    Winks & Smiles,
