I Won! I Won! I Won! J Crew Boots from ebay!

*virtual high five*
The bidding gods were with me. I won the auction! $22.49 for a brand new pair of J Crew boots! I mean...these boots are originally $250!
Yay, me! Yay, me!

Today's eBay Obsessions: Jesus, Please Take The Wheel?

These boots are brand new and while I know that I said that I now have every configuration of boots ever made...I do...except a tall, leather brown rugged pair. Help. Me. Please. Right now bidding is at $19.99 and ends tonight at 11 PM. Only one bidder at the time of this post. Do you feel a smackdown coming on?

Ummm...words are probably not necessary. Because Mr TBS comes over here sometimes (and this surely would not be an approved indulgence), I shall not go into the retail details of these mother-of-pearl logo-ed, Chanel sunglasses. I need these. If I do not have them, my retina will surely burn to a crisp this summer. Bidding ends in 10 hours from the time of this post and 10 LOSERS are engaged and have raised the stakes to $150. We'll see. It might not be my time for these right now but they are definitely on my list! Note to Mr TBS: Will have before Spring. Stop your bellyaching! I could be spending our money on crack.

My name is TBS and I have problems. I'm watching Gucci loafers for tomorrow. *hangs head in shame*

Likey?

Don't You...Step On My Kate Spade Shoes! (On Sale, Of Course!)

Kate Spade shoes can be a pretty penny unless you happen upon a killer sale. eBay is a remarkable source for the designer's shoes on a discount. I have a couple of pairs of Kate Spade's that are my "3 hour shoes". Oh, I'm sure you know them well...after 3 hours and 1 second, they begin to cripple me. I usually only wear them to church or if I'm going to be sitting for a longer period of time. Made in Italy, Kate's footwear is more narrow than I usually fancy. Who said fashion is ALWAYS comfortable?

These are some of my faves from Kate's Sale page. They are at least 50% off. They're not on my wish list these days but might be of interest to some other TBS's out there:-)

Have you any "1, 2, or 3 hour shoes"?

Shannon S Is Trouble...Pillow Pagoda

IF (and only IF) you're looking for some fab throw pillows, Shannon S, my delightful girlfriend has tripped over some offerings on eBay. LOVE them! While they are not the most inexpensive, they might be an investment that you can plan for down the road. My favorite are the green garden rounded center version.

Take a gander at these and let me know what you think!

Want Designer Eyeglass Frames Without The Premium?

Oooooooffffff course you do!

When we were in San Francisco earlier this fall, Katie T and I happened upon one of our educational partners who was wearing the swankiest Chanel eyeglasses. As usual, Katie T and I (and moreso I) began to covet her frames. Since Katie interfaces with said partner more than I, she was immediately deputized to find out all of the particulars regarding the frames.

How convenient that we were both armed with our iPhones; so our preliminary search began! I was naturally drawn to eBay and found a world of frames originally priced between $300-400 but listed for auction beginning around $100. I also needed to get my measurements from my optician (and now know that this information can be found on the "arms" of eyeglasses)

Even $100 was more than I wanted to spend, so over the past 2 months, I've kept a vigil and, you guessed it, my patience has paid off. Though I could not find the tortoise-framed, mother-of-pearl glasses that our colleague donned, I won a pair that are probably more my style. The bidding began at 99 cents and ended with my winning bid: 27 smackeroos! The next step is taking them to my optician and having my prescription lenses popped right on in.

At the end of the day, I saved almost $350 on the frames. I'll drop them off tomorrow for the lenses to be added. These are them posted above! What do you think? Stylish much?

It takes some research but eBay has most always been good to me.

Stay tuned for TBS's free webinar early next year: How To eBay On A Budget.

Pray For Me...Donald J Pliner Boots on eBay

Break out the candles and start praying for me.

Every size 11 pair of boot this side of the Mason-Dixon have obviously purchased by others in the sisterhood of the Sasquatchean.

We've only 4 more days but I'm holding on until the very.last.minute for these black suede Donald J Pliner boots (retail price is $430). Brand spanking new. The bid is currently resting at $45.
I've gotta have 'em.
Amen.
Has anyone else had a hard time finding the perfect boots this season?
