I ran into Tar-zhay last evening and, for the record Mr TBS, I only spent $14.
While I was waiting for my prescription to be filled, I came upon this rug that was so cute. It is only $20 and is a nice value if you're looking for a pop of texture in a small space. I thought of getting it for my office but I am reminded of the principle of scale that's often preached by my interior designer friends.
It'd look great with a punch of color or as an anchor in a black and white themed space. Though it's only 3'x5', surely SOMEONE can use it. It has a canvas/jute feel that is quite substantial. It doesn't look cheap or cheesy at all. Trust me. You know I'd say so if it did.
What did you buy when you were in Tar-zhay last?
I was roaming around Tar-zhay just the other day and came across the clearance section near the make-up aisle. I found some great lipglosses and nail polishes for about $1 each. Oh what fun I had there.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, only dental floss, toothbrushes, and ziploc bags.
ReplyDeleteA wine cooler that holds 12 bottles ($69).....looks great in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteSome fabulous Lipton tea (white tea and peach) on clearance! Perfect for sipping during the ATL rains this week.
ReplyDeletea pair of earrings on clearance. bottle of water and pizza. tissue t-shirt in a shade of pink that matches the earrings.
ReplyDeleteOoh, don't get me started! Target is so great for picking up stuff that you didn't know that you needed. On my list now: a ruler, The Princess and The Frog dvd, Easter candy, paper plates, paper towels.
ReplyDeleteThe cutest baby clothes for a new baby girl. And I spotted the cutest pair of earrings that I plan to wear all summer!
ReplyDeleteI spent $300 last week in Target. I am not even sure what I bought. Target is my drug. I am addicted. I have to make myself stay away.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE TARGET. Last time I went to Target I think I bought leggings and some more cutesie stuff for the baby.
ReplyDeleteI found a 7 dollar denim jacket, and some other finds on the clearance rack/isles (pillow cases, a duvet, some cute lil mirrored side tables for this redecorating frenzy I'm currently tackling).
ReplyDeleteMy daughter gives me the hardest time ever in life for always running straight to the clearance racks...until last weekend when we were cleaning out my closet and she was eyeballing all my goodies. She said "Ma, you really are one funky chick, huh?" Feels great when the young folks realize how hip their parents really are!
Some socks and a kid's Timex watch. I think I rival LPC for fascinating purchases.
ReplyDeleteWANT that. But, alas, nowhere to put it. And, double alas, I've bought nil at the Big T lately because I'm on shopping restriction :(.
ReplyDeleteWhat didn't I buy should be the question!

Wifey
Tar-zhay is the best. I just bought my new guest room bedding there. I'm so happy with it too. Very nice quality. Billy had originally told me I couldn't get it...so I did what I had to do. I went to Target, purchased it, brought it home and put it on the bed. then i waited til he got home so that he could see how good it looks. Once he saw it he had a change of heart and we are keeping it. Sometimes men just need a little extra push...especially my man. xo, Cristi
ReplyDeleteI love Target they have the best deals! Im headed that way this morning!
