More Turkey Talk: How To Carve One From Real Simple

Are your turkey carving skills up to par? Or do you delegate it to someone else? If you're not confident, consider purchasing a couple of cornish hens to prepare and practice at some point over the next week or so.

  1. The best thing to do if you cannot carve a turkey is to go to Honeybaked Ham, buy some of their pre-cooked and pre-sliced turkey, and slap it on a plate. That saves hours of headaches.

  2. I am a very good carver and several years ago I taught my husband how to carve it as well. I'm from the old school where the man carves the bird. I even presented him with a special carving set that he is so cute about checking to see if it's sharp enough. LOL!
