I was watching CBS Evening News with Katie Couric last night and there was a segment on Clara Cannucciari, a great-grandmother who shares the recipes which sustained her family through the Great Depression. From pasta to peas and on to potatoes, Clara's grandson tapes her "shows" in the comfort of her kitchen for the world to watch.
To catch the whole season, search for "Great Depression cooking" on YouTube. She also has a blog. With the state of the economy, we should all consider tuning into Clara's show occasionally.
What cooking shows do YOU watch?
I like her shows and have made one of her recipes it was pretty good. Im alwasy tuned into Semi homemade with Sandra Lee,Down Home with the Neelys, and my fav Paula Deen. I actually interviewed them as well, all very delightful!
