Just Curious...

Under what circumstances would you buy your daughter (who is under the age of 5, mind you) a $330 dress? Be not mistaken, this dress is adorable. So adorable that I could drizzle it in honey and eat it. When I saw it, I swooned and I don't even have a daughter! Yet it doesn't seem practical when kids grow like weeds. I think you know my answer: any daughter of mine could have this if it were, like, 75% off. I will be watching this one like a hawk out of sheer nosiness. I'd like to follow it and see if the price gets slashed at all.
Tell me...would you? How much is too much for kids' clothing?

  1. I have a 4 year old daughter and I would not spend that much money on a dress for her. They grow too fast and we don't have tons of money just lying around. The most I've ever spent on a dress was a little over $100 and it was for her godparent's wedding. I try to spend as little as possible but on good, quality clothing.

  2. None. Not even if she were in a wedding unless the bride is paying.

    Seriously!

  3. Hmmm, if I could more than afford it AND planned to keep as some sort of heirloom.

Okay who am I kidding, I would not spend that much on a child's dress. With the right fabric, the dress could probably be made.

  4. Gasp! I'm a Target, TJMaxx, Old Navy chick. I can find a fabulous little get-up for my 5 year old for under $20.

  5. I would never spend that much. Ohmygoodness NO! Indeed, they grow too fast for that kind of money. I don't think I've spent that much on a dress for MYSELF ever! No. Um... no. I'm the queen of finding awesome kid's stuff for not much money, just like Wifey said.
