...but not on your face. Well-groomed eyebrows are non-negotiable. Sorry. A make-up artist friend of mine made this crystal clear eons years ago and I've not looked back! I've gone to the same waxing specialist for nearly 4 years and it's oftentimes the best $7 that is swiped on my Visa.
The shape of your brows frame your face and make your eyes "POP!" unless, of course, you intend to have a butterfly spring from your T-Zone. Ha!
Check out Elke Von Freudenberg's (that's her pictured above) blog, The Model Brow, for tips, tricks and tools for your brows. If you're in NY or LA, there's a chance that you might snag an appointment.
How do you maintain your brows and how much do you pay? Waxing? Threading? Plucking? Not?

I am so happy I stumbled across your blog. I am destined to live a fabulous lifestyle, but right now I do not have fabulous money and I shouldn't let that, or two kids, a husband, a job, and a blog hinder that.

ReplyDeleteI go to the same lady everytime and she is the eyebrow queen on a low budget ($7). The best kept secret ever! For preciseness my eyebrow goddess uses waxing, tweezing and a razor to create the best eyebrow shape!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the mention! So appreciated. I spend (sadly) the majority of my 12-15 eyebrow shapings per day, fixing and reshaping badly botched up eyebrows. Tip: Always look at the technician's brows first to get an idea of what you might get and don't be afraid to ask for a mirror so you can watch. Better to be safe than sorry. :)
ReplyDeleteI need to revisit my threader. I haven't been in a while and trying to maintain at home. I really shouldn't be so cheap!
