So I listened to y'all and bought this shelf for the office....Well, as luck would have it, I got home and found myself in a non-refundable quandary. The desk is stark white and the shelf is a deep eggshell. Not a good look.
I, therefore, am considering painting the shelf.
I have decided on a color palatte of burnt orange, tiffany blue, stark white and black accents with a bit of bling (yeah, baby!).
What color do you think I should paint the shelf (if at all)?
In jams such as this I ask myself: What would Lee Kleinhelter (the fab owner of Pieces) do? I think a field trip to her store for a little chat might be in order.

Are you painting the walls one of those colors? If so, the shelf would stand out in a stark white that matches the desk with accessories in the orange, black, and blue colors.

ReplyDeleteBrigette, I the walls are a deep khaki and likely remain the same. We'll only be there for a couple of more years and I don't want to paint ther room.
