"Wonderland" - James' Christmas Tree

Look at James' "Wonderland"! Isn't it lovely? James, a TBS follower (with such the flawless eye, might I add?) in the Bay area, was kind enough to share the photos of his latest creative design----his Christmas tree.

He says that the ornaments span several years of collection and include everything from Christopher Radko to ornaments received from his grandmother when he was merely a babe in the '70s.

James does offer a tip for us:

"This years change was the glitter explosion tinsel sticks purchased at Target. They are $3.99 right now, so unless you want to splurge as you will need a lot (6 ft tree would need around 15, an 8 ft tree at minimum 20), wait a couple of weeks, all of the stores are marking decorations down early this year. Target has some great home Christmas decor this year, and has an extensive LED tree and home light collection. For those who are penny wise, LED lights (just like the new bulbs) will save you a nice bit of change on your electric bill, and will last longer as well. "

Thanks, James!

Don't forget to send pictures of your holiday decorations to thebrokesocialite [at] yahoo [dot] com! We'd love to see them. Be sure to include any cost-saving tips!

  1. That tree is Fab. I like to decorate my tree around the 20th but I am tempted to start extra early this year.
