What Do YOU Think Of This Chair For My Office?

As you may remember, I'm on a quest to outfit my home office. I've found the perfect desk and am now using it as an anchor for building the rest of the room. You may also remember that I'd found a chair that doesn't really work in its current upholstery; so I'll likely have it recovered when/if I stumble upon the right swatch.

Meanwhile, building the TBS empire must go on. I am outgrowing the family area and am getting sideways glances from Mr TBS and Gareth. My creative genius is not inspired with football or video games blasting in the background.

I, therefore, believe that I should grab an 'in the meantime' desk chair and make everyone happy. It's budget friendly (under $40) and I think it will feel good in the space. After all, it's a temporary fix.

What do you think I should do?

  2. I was wondering the same thing... is it comfortable? It's aesthetically pleasing, but how will your rear-end feel after a few hours in it?

  3. Ok, total honesty. It is totally cute but it doesn't go with the desk. So, I say if it fits in your overall budget, it wouldn't be a bad thing to buy it and have as an "extra" seat (like in "real" offices, never hurts to have an extra chair). BUT don't get it if it's your main desk chair or if it'll mess up your well-planned budgeting. Oh, and I've sat in one like it and found it comfortable, so I am not worried about that (plus it's pink, so...).

  5. OK, OK...ixnay on the pink chair. Back to the drawing board. I had a fairly extensive virtual exchange with Carrie Neal this afternoon and she set me straight. I'm so eager to take over the world that my reasoning skills might have been briefly compromised. I must continue to practice patience.
